St. Norbert School
St Norbert School is a Norbertine venture. The Norbertine Order was founded by St Norbert in 1120 at Premontre in France with the motto of, “Prepared for all Good Work”. St Norbert School comes under the jurisdiction of the Norbertine Fathers of Manathavady in the district of Wayanadu in Kerala.
St Norbert School was founded in 2004 under theJnanadeepthi Educational Society with the sole aim of providing meaningful education leading to the transformation of children to a meaningful role in the society of tomorrow embracing the most up to date technology of today. St Norbert School is one of the well-known schools in Chickmagalur and the surrounding districts, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education – (CBSE) – New Delhi. Today it has grown into a school with a difference.

The Management
St Norbert School is managed by the Jnanadeepthi Educational Society. The Society has been established and promoted by the Norbertine Fathers with their headquarters in Mananthavady, in the Waynadu district of Kerala. The society has its local headquarters at the ITC, Simse, Narasimha Raja Pura, Chickmagalur District, Karnataka.
The Campus
St Norbert School is situated on the outskirts of Koppa on a small hillock along the Mangalore-Shimoga highway. The School is located at a distance of a mere five minutes’ drive from the center of Koppa town and connected by the highway. St. Norbert School offers students an ideal location for study and formation. The place is noted for its tropical climate, salubrious, unpolluted atmosphere, breath-taking natural beauty, historic sites and plenty of outdoor adventure. Koppa also finds fame as close to Sringeri, the renowned Holy place famous as the seat of His Holiness, Shri. Shankaracharya and also close to the birth- place of Kuvempu, the great Kannada poet. The school has got a very well ventilated and airy building with spacious class rooms, a large inner courtyard for assembly and get together, open school grounds for physical training and sports. The campus and the building create a serene atmosphere conducive to learning.

The seminal influence of the motto of the Order, “Prepared for all Good Work”, permeates all our educational activities.
